We’re Upgrading Our Banking System!
TPFCU To Convert to New Banking System This Fall
It’s a Big Project, But Will Result in Big Savings and Efficiencies
This Fall, we will be changing our core banking system that is responsible for operating all account transactions. Our current system is over 20 years old and the change will make TPFCU much more efficient and expedient.
What does this change mean to you?
- It means that we will be closed on Friday, November 1st and Saturday, November 2nd to facilitate the change to the new system. We will still have employees working during these times and will be taking phone calls for any issues.
- CU@round, our online branch and our Owner mobile banking app will not be operational during the conversion starting 6pm on October 31st. We will have a new online banking and mobile app beginning Monday, November 4th. All members will have to re-enroll. Please visit our online enrollment tips here. Our online bill pay will also be down beginning 11/1, and any reoccurring and planned bill payments scheduled after 10/31 will not go out. If you have payments that need to go out during the time we are down, you will need to pay them in advance if possible or arrange for alternate payment.
- We will be operating in “stand-in” mode for debit card transactions during the transition on November 1st and 2nd, so if you rely on automatic transfer from savings account to checking account to cover transactions, that functionality will not work in offline mode. You will need to have money already in your checking account to cover any transactions.
- We will work to post any incoming credits to your account in the form of ACH deposits before we go into stand-in mode. Any ACH payments or debits that come in during the time we are down will be posted as soon as we come up on the new system on November 4th. We will post all credits first, then we will post debits. If you get your paycheck in the form of a paper check, you can drop it into our night deposit boxes at the branches. These are located at the drive thru at the Canyon, Hillside and Childress branches and at the ATM building at the Pecos Branch. We will be working on Friday, November 1st and Saturday, November 2nd and will make those funds available through your debit card.
Other than that, we are working to make this transition as seamless as possible.
We will update this page to keep you informed as we go along. We will also have email and/or mailed updates and signage throughout the branches to keep you informed as we go through the conversion. You can also contact us with any questions. As always, thank you for your understanding and patience. We are excited and can’t wait to be able to serve you even faster and better on the new system!
